365 Project: Mamam

Mamam

April 26, 2011

We use the word “mamam” when we ask a child if he/she wants a drink (of water, softdrinks, etc). It’s one of the first few childish words learned along with “mama” and “papa” and along the way it’s slowly replaced with “inom” (the proper Filipino word for “drink“). Nevertheless, no matter how long it’s been, that word never really leaves our vocabulary cause once we get to have kids of our own, we still ask if they want mamam.
