Food, Melo's

Dinner @ Melo’s Burgos Circle

Since we weren’t keen on braving the traffic and the stress, we didn’t go out last Valentine’s day to celebrate but instead had our date this weekend instead. Boyfie is such a steak lover so we ended up at Melo’s Burgos Circle. He called to make reservations and ours was already scheduled for 9:30pm. I guess it’s a busy night for them.

Here’s what we had for dinner…

Tenderloin Salpicao:

Button Mushrooms with Red and Green Bell Pepper:

The thing is, I’m not a big steak fan… I’d rather have white meat anytime of the day, but I do enjoy eating at Melo’s. This is the second time we’ve been here and I loved it both times too. We ordered the pre-cut Wagyu done medium well and a plate of veggies. Boyfie got all the garlic rice and I got most of the veggies (fair is fair!). The price is a bit steep but quite understandable since they serve high grade steaks and we do have to pay for the ambiance and cooking expertise too.

Are we going back sometime soon? With the price, maybe not as soon as we’d like to… but, yes, we’d like to go back sometime.
